"The only problem that I had while staying at this hotel was with a desk clerk whose name is Kate. She was VERY unprofessional, rude, she talked to me as if I was an idiot. She would "huff and blow" while waiting on me, as if to say "your not important, you are taking my time". I tried to find parking in the hotel but could not, I had to park, inconviently, 2 blocks down away from the hotel, which made it hard to go back and forth, in the rain Friday, bringing my luggage. Then, I had to pay a $75.00 deposit, in cash, for the parking, telephone use, television. So, I could not park at the hotel (inconvient). I made one phone call to a local pizza place and did not rent any movies. Sunday, while checking out, Kate was waiting on me once again. She asked me if I had money there, I guess for the deposit, which I told her I had $75 that I had deposited in cash. She said "OK" and proceeded to give me only $24.30 in return. I asked her where was the rest of my money and she said that it was deducted for parking, television and room service. I then informed her that I could not park in the hotel lot, I had to park down the street, (inconvient). I told her there was no movies rented, only local channels watched and only one local phone call was made. Also, Saturday morning, one continental breakfast was brought to the room and was paid for with cash. So, in my opinion, this person who works for this hotel, and one of the first people you deal with, was not only rude and obnoxious to me and my cousin but she tried to cheat me out of my $75.00 deposit. Which, in fact, she said she was going to charge me $1.00 for the local phone call. And, she did return, reluctantly, $74.00 to me. I hope I am the only person that she has done this way, if not, you will not be in business very long. Enjoyed the stay, but not the service."

"The inital hostess at the Bistro on Elm restaurant (inside the hotel) was terrible. She had no idea of what she was doing until someone else had to come and intervene. The other service staff at the restaurant seemed to have major problems as well. Other customers next to us did not receive any attention for well over a half an hour.
We were trying to find a way to get to the skywalk to the convention center in a wheelchair and could not figure out how. An employee in an reception hall that was working on setting up the room assisted us in finding the entrance. He not only told how to get to it, but agreed to personally take us there and he carried our luggage without us asking for it!"
